How long ago did you write it? If it was waaayy long ago, give up honey and just try and do your best to move on.
I SUPPOSE if you really want to know you could call him and tell him, see what he says to you. Texts are kind of impersonal, and sometimes not too reliable wether or not he got it. So call him it is more personal, if you are too shy to say it to his face right now

Just move on with your life. If he feels the same way, he will come around. Either he is in shock because he didn't know how you felt or he doesn't feel the same way.
