it's not so much the water that goes off rather the packaging also they are covering themselves against being sued by someone drinking 10 year old water

The plastic bottles that water comes in are semi-permeable. This means that some molecules are small enough to pass through and eventually spoil the water. This means that you should never buy water or soda from a gas station, since the fumes seep through the plastic and contaminate the liquid inside.

Not sure but i have often asked why?

Like if water runs through mountains and things for hundreds of years why is there a use by date?

There will be some brainbox out there who knows but i'm happy with wondering thanx very much!!

It's not quite pure. In the ground it lasts for thousands of years. Once you process it to put it in bottles, various bacteria, yeasts and assorted nasties get in. There's no risk if you drink it within 6 months of bottling, but they can't guarantee it any longer.

Bacteria generate in bottled water, especially if the bottles are left in the sun or in a warm area.

Have you seen the magnesium and other stuff in thePURE water. They are added in by the company which gives it the expiry date.

the plastic has bacteria which is minor, the bacteria get major when time takes up.

it sits there and it doesnt aste very good it become barrel water
