He's sick, egotistical, etc.
He really needs to be removed from office. Impeachment...
He is going to get more people killed, over an agenda that's not real.
These young people joined the military during peace time. More than half of them did not expect to go into combat so in essence, they did not join for this.
Now for those that did join after or because of 911.... have you heard of 'Propoganda'? Gov get's people to move towards a plan of action because of what's being 'fed' to them. Ex: "Weapons of Mass Destruction", etc.
I spent over six years in Scout recon and I will never abandon my brothers and sisters in harms way.... but I have to say....
there's more BS coming out of the present gov than there is coming out of a bull itself.

Do you people honestly think the USA didn't expect civil war in
Iraq,America has more experience in war than anyone else.
They must of looked into every possible outcome, before they
made a move.I think this whole war and Saddam's death are
just a smoke screen for a war all about securing what will be
the last oil producing country on the earth(Iraq will be the last
country on the planet producing oil,it will run out in around 116
years time)
Last month the USA said they plan to leave Iraq
Now they say were sending more troops.
The truth is they have to secure the oil fields and that is the
priority.
Question-if your friends lied to you on a regular basis, would
you still trust them?
ANSWER-I doubt one of you would answer yes.
So how is it your governments do it and people still stick up
for them and worse, follow them blindly into illegal wars and
the so called battle against good and evil.I think there is evil
and greed on both sides of this war,but the people with the
power to manipulate the press dictate what we hear and
read.
THE PETROWARS HAVE BEGUN,DON'T DOUBT IT.

Bad idea. Just more targets and they simply do not have enough men to control Iraq. If they had half a million men AND it was matched by political commitments from the Iraqi government(?) for national reconciliation it might have a fighting chance.
Put simply the USA is not only 'finished' in Iraq its reputation as a world power capable of making the right decisions is in tatters.

I think if it will get the job done then yes. And i dont think people should pick on Bush and Blair.Everyone in the world knows the if we didnt go to war then every single person would be like why arent we going to war?? What the hell is wrong with Bush. Why isnt he doing anything. Also, if you have ever read any letters from troops or books then you would see that we obvisouly are doing something right. You should go out and find some there is on and i think its called War letters or something but its so good. I dont like that were over there but if we have to be then i think we should at least support our side. And i agree with your last line

GW is between a rock and a hard place for sure. Pull the troops out or put more in???
If he pulls the troops out, it will seem that the US has lost the war and more troops in, the more young Americans that will die for whatever reason the US is there in the first place. Was it WMD?? Was it terrorism links (non found) or maybe just the oil??
This is Viet Nam again and now the US and Viet Nam are buds - go figure that one.
I think GW will put more troops in unfortunately.

The only way to end this is to completely destroy the enemy its simple military logic. More troops are needed. The Military commanders are crying out for more troops supplies and equipment but get none.
The ratio of allied troop casualties to terrorist deaths is very low i.e we are killing hundreds of them for one or two of our guys i dont think those are particularly bad stats. People are going on about the next Hitler, well these are worse than the Nazis now if they gain any power its curtains for us.
I know two officers in the royal Marines who have been out many times to Afghan and one is now planning most of the campaign more men are needed!!!

I absolutely agree with you. Except on the grounds of people choosing to go over seas on their own beliefs and ideas. Who do you think pays for this bull s*** propaganda. Every where you turn there are ads and video games supporting this war. I am currently in a high school where almost every day there are military officials at lunch trying to talk people into joining. They prey on those who have low self esteem and where are you going to get a mass of young adults with low self esteem....I personally think that it shouldn't be allowed. As you can probably tell I am very much against this literally never ending war I feel that it is not worth the lives of so many young innocent people.

I don't understand your question !.. particularly when 77% US troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan where the alledged terrorists, allegedly responsible for the 9/11 attrocites are believed to been trained there, and are in hiding there today?
Why would more troops need to be sent to Iraq when USA have let UK troops down very badly (already under-resourced and under-manned in a "war fighting role" by NATO troops there to do admin jobs only, because thier own countrys' political status is so sensitive and don't want to become the next target of these terrorists...!)..
US let down UK troops, there to assist US troops in Afghanistan only - as I understood the original mandate of George W Bush's request for UK troops to help US troops in AFGHANISTAN. - by withdrawing 77% of US troops leaving UK troops (the majority of NATO war fighting soldiers) to deal with the mess US troops left behind them when they withdrew !!
Since then, the media have reported details mainly relating to Iraq thereby taking the spotlight off the real source of this conflict - namely dealing with terrorists being trained and hidden in Afghanistan.
WHY, therefore would ANY right thinking "leader" of USA want to send in more cannon fodder into Iraq?
Why doesn't Tony Bliar withdraw 77% of UK troops out of Afghanistan - replicating George W Bushs' actions?
THAT would re-focus his mind back on the ball !

If only they could make partners out of their enemies, and there would be nothing to fight about. All groups should have a fair role in the system, hence none should feel like they have been maliciously left out. If all were just, and there were nothing to fight about, imagine the glorious peace that would ensue.
