Internally you can find vitamins in the drugstores or hair salons to help strengthen and make your hair shiny. Externally you should purchase your haircare products from a salon. The hair care products in the stores contain lots of wax and really do nothing for your hair. I like to color, dry, and straighten my hair. For real... I totally abuse my hair, but I use the shampoo and conditioner by Bed Head called Moisture Maniac. I also use a leave in conditioner everyday by Bed Head called Ego Maniac. I also use an shine serum by LA Looks. It is in a clear small bottle with a clear oil in it. Once you put in your wet hair and you blow dry it or use a hot iron it also acts as a leave in. Trim your hair every six weeks, about a half of an inch. No matter how well you take care of your hair u always need to trim it. Also if your hair is coarse and thick you can use a hair lotion intended for African American hair. Even if you don't have African American hair, it works terrific. Later!

Believe it or not, a balance between diet, rest and exercise. Healthy people have better hair. Period. So get healthy, and don't waste your money on magic hair potions (products). Best of luck.
