I have more cramps. I hardly ever had them before my tubal. My periods are lighter though!! They also don't last nearly as long as before!

I had mine tied 5 years ago.

No--mine are worse because of some extra weight I'm carrying, and the fact of getting older (I'm 45, and had them tied at 23).

I haven't noticed any difference and it has been about 1 1/2 years since I had mine done.
My biggest thing is that I often now forget that it is coming because I don't have the pills to keep track any more.

In all honesty if your sister is prepared to bypass forward with having her tubes tied...if she isn't chuffed with the Gynaecologists determination tell her to return to her GP and get him to refer her to a distinctive Gynie. it is a private determination. Noone has the suited to tell you what to do along with your physique. It was as normal as before. Pain and messy. No difference at all. I had mine done 14 years ago. Normal life during that time.
