I'd ask him why he was afraid to talk to me in public. If he could not give me a good enough answer then Yes I would dump him. Life is for the living, and lets face it, is he ashamed of you or something.

Why would he be afraid to talk to you in public. Is he ashamed of you? That guy is not worth your time. What l would do is ask him why he does that and if he can't give you a good enough reason (l don't honestly think that he has a good enough reason), then yes l would dump him. Good luck
