Confront them with it. But usually what happens is they try to talk their way out of it saying something like "it was before your time". You have to go with your gut and if you believe they have been cheating you need to look out for yourself and leave.

Honestly I would move on, start dating right in front of him. not s.e.x., just flirt shamlessly with someone besides him... i mean, A)you're not really too invested in something new for it to work out so just seeing the two of you together will piss off the current boyfriend. if it doesn't then he's been busy himself.
b)don't bother explaining. ""why?"" besides it's better to be single anyway. no one can cheat on you then..-m
