I bet every staffie owner gets p****d with this. We could not have chosen a better natured dog than our staffie. She is wonderful with our 2 year old! Hale to Staffies!!!

I don't like this approach it is the owners. Any animal can be aggressive but if you love the animal and give it attention and care the animal will respect you.

The thing that gets me is i own an American bulldog witch people mistake for a Pitt bull when there completely different breeds of dog. My dog is such a loving girl and is excellent with my son and other children that visit the house.

My staffie is daft as a brush just wants to play even at midnight

they show staffies because PITBULL is not a breed of dogs it’s a term typically used to group 3 breeds of dog, the American Pit Bull Terrier (ABPT), American Staffordshire Terrier (AMSTAFF) and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (STAFFIE).

All dogs are dangerous, some are just better trained and controlled by their owners, that's all.

Control is an illusion, especially where these once wild animals come into contact with people they do not know!

They could show Lassie for all I care! Everybody THINKS their dog is harmless (in the same way I think that my Lion is just a pussycat).

Dog owners = control freaks, who hate to think they may not actually even be able to control a dog!

Because Pit Bulls produce a reaction from the public, most of whom couldn't recognise one anyway. It used to be Rottweilers, before that it was Alsatians. No doubt, in the future some other unfortunate breed will become "Devil dogs"

Just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything on TV.

Who cares? 90% of the sh!t most people watch is just mind numbing blabber anyways.

TV is overrated and too many people rely on it for everything, including an education. Granted, History, Discovery, Military and a few others are good channels, but most people are tuned in to the celebrity dance off or entertainment news, survivor and that desperate wives show. Yick! Hate TV.

True, but sadly enough, people think they are pitties...which....all dogs are dangerous if not trained properly, even a staffie. pitties have become so popular that any cross that looks similar becomes a pittie. And they are so closely related.

i noticed that aswell, even on the news they show staffys. I dont own one myself but there are quite afew where i live and they all seem to behave theirselves and obey their owners, (unlike my jack russell)
