You can't go wrong with squats. You can try using weights while doing them, and stair climb exercises are good as well. Good luck!

The truth is that you can't direct where you lose fat on your body. Just like you can't direct where you gain it.
Sure, doing situps and crunches will exercise your abdominal muscles, but that won't make the fat go away. The same thing is true for your butt and thighs.

Your weight will come off in the reverse order that it was put on. You can use certain machines to target certain areas - I use an eliptical walker and use either 'gluteal 1' or 'gluteal 2' programs to target where I want to work. That will target that area, tone it and build muscle.

But nothing can influence where you lose fat - don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise - it's simply not possible. If you want to lose weight, you will need to do tons of cardio and if you drink soda - just stop that altogether.

Do "DIPS". I do the Carmen Electrs Strip To be Fit videos... and they work like magic. You just dip (bend at the knees , and on the way up shift your butt to the left). repeat but switch sides. Just think of how a stripper would dip.... I hope this helps, its kinda hard to explain, but it feels great... you can also run your hands up and down your thighs for balance.

Try an Olyptical machine in your gym. It's the one that has a "skiiing" motion to it. It's fun, and it works.
