I just put mine on a paper plate make sure to pierce it with a knife. I have a thing on my microwave for baked potatoes , it depends how many you are doing and the size of the potato. I would say try 3-5 minutes check and see if it's done if not add another minute until they are done.

Pierce the potato with a fork several times to avoid steam build up and potential exploding spuds. ;-)
Wrap the potato in a paper towel and microwave on High until done. That can take anywhere from 6 to 10 minutes or more, depending on the wattage of your microwave and the size/thickness of the potato.

you dont have to wrap it at all rinse it off.poke a few holes in it with a fork and put in microwave. i have a large microwave so it takes about 9 minutes. a smaller microwave would probablytake about 12 or 13 minutes

clean your potatoe to remove any dirt and then have a little fun stabbing at it witha fork or knife. Then stick it ona plate, unwrapped in the microwave for about 7 minutes and you're done!
You can use a sanwich bag to wrap it if you like but it isn't necessary :)

Just wash the potato, dont bother wrapping and dont bother poking it. Just high heat 2-4 mins in high heat depending on size. Do one at a time .Should squeeze like play dough when done

I never wrap mine but you could use a wet paper towel. I just poke sevearl holes in it on each side with fork or knife, then bake away until my knife goes right in wtih no resistance, then its done.
