In September after a rough couple of months, I decided with my girlfriend that moving out of our apartment was a good idea. I never realized how stupid I was being until I left. I did not lie, cheat or deceive her. I was scared and ran. Since then we talked, even kissed one time. After Thanksgiving I asked her if we can get back together, we never really broke up, no one said that it was over. I poured my heart out to her about being scared to get married, needing time to myself to figure things out. She decided that she does not want to be a couple again. To me, I can not understand this. I feel that we always said to each other we had unconditional love and this would be something we can work through together. She says that I had the chance to work through it with her before I moved out. We still talk to this day, usually through email at work and text each other goodnight each night. But, this is killing me. Even talking with her hurts, can this be saved?

It's doubtful a situation like this can be saved. I've heard of it before, but it doesn't turn out as well as it should.
She's probably thinking you put her though enough pain when you left and now she's trying to get back at you for it.
I'm not going to say that it's impossible, but that it's really hard to work things out.

I hope so, I'm in the same situation and I don't know what to do. Talking to her isn't getting me anywhere. She said she is thinking about it but i don't know. Just hang in there i guess, sorry I cant give u an answer but I feel your pain, every day I shed a tear, or more. I cant eat sleep, I feel like I'm dying inside. I hope you get her back and things work out for you. Though I don't think any answer you get on here will change her mind. It may change how you look at things, but in the end it up to her. If she still truly loves you, she will come back, maybe you can try show her all the good things you have been through. Cos after a long relationship saying your beautiful and I love you helps, but it just doesn't cut it. Till then you just have to withstand the pain :( sorry I know it hurts, but you cant force her to do anything.

Let her go, She obviously does not want to go out with you anymore. I feel sorry for you but if you really loved her you would let her go...
The other thing you could do is talk to her and say "please i love you and i think your are the ONE! Give me one more oprotunity" I dont know if that would work but some guy did that to me and i said yes in a snap!

I think that it sounds like she discovered that she likes her independence and doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. Unfortunately, one day she may wake up and discover that she let a good one get away. Take it slow, give her room, but don't give it. Good luck!!!

If I was her I'd be too scared to get back together with you. What if you got cold-feet again. I'd just imagine you not showing up to the wedding.

Be honest with her and let her know how you feel. Whatever happens, happens. But know in the end that you were completely honest with yourself and her, and if she decides to walk, then maybe that's what needs to happen, but as long as your honest, everything will be ok.

She's moved on. Deal with it. Don't make the same mistake next time.

chase her, hound her, stalk her if you need to!! no wait, ignore the last one. keep in touch, and keep reminding her how much you love her. if she ignores all that, shes not worth fighting for.
