here's what i mean....if you've been single for a VERY long time, and you had a date with somebody who was funny and cute, made you feel good but didnt necessarily give you butterflies or fireworks...would you still try and pursue a relationship or forget it? i met somebody and went on a date....and he didnt give me that awesome crazy feeling that i've gotten before. i dont sit and daydream about him all day long, and he's not my ideal match. He was very funny and cute and we had a good time, but i think that maybe im just thinking in my head that i want to date him only because im lonely and haven't been in a relationship in a long time. How do i tell the difference between the two? just give it some time? or dont wasted my time?

yeah, throw caution to the wind and give it a try, its obvious you like the boy, i would give it a couple more dates just to get to know him better and make sure he is a sure thing guy and not a jerk, you dont want to jump right into it and not really know the guy fully, I know im a guy and we have one thing on our minds and that is sex.. so make sure he is not about the playing and all about the heart and has a good personlity.. so give it about a month of dates before u go diving into it.

I would say give it some time. You never know. But in the meantime don't rule out other people. Never settle just because you don't want to be alone.

i would give it some time because this realationship right now does not seem like its going anyware beacuse wat if he gets to like u alot and u dont even like him that much!
