Ok, here's the deal. I am in love with my best guy friend. And he knows I like him.
Last night, I posted a bulletin on Myspace saying "I don't think I love him anymore." He messaged me back, asking me why I don't like the guy anymore. I said it was because he was too far away and I could never have him.
His reply was "Oh...umm...well I'm glad that you're moving on. Do I know this guy?"
I said, "I doubt it." He said, "Oh. Ok. Well."
And then we stopped talking for the night. This morning, he called me, asking if I wanted to come over and spend the day with him. I declined, because I was busy. He seemed very sad and when I asked him why doesn't he ask his girlfriend, he said that he didn't feel like it.
A few days ago on New Years Eve, as soon as the ball dropped, he called me and wished me a happy New Years. I asked him this morning if he ever called his girlfriend, and he said "Uh...no...I was busy."

Now, he is trying to spend more time with me then his girlfriend. He calls me in the middle of the night, just to talk about life. He is more close to me than he's ever been. And now that I have in a way rejected him, I feel like he finally realized what he could of had and is now falling for me.
What should I do? I still love him with everything I have. Should I act on it?

well, if he does the following then he likes you :)
One of the easiest ways to know if a guy likes you is if he gives you quick glances and stares at you every so often. Watch him and if he looks at you quite often from time to time, HE LIKES YOU!
If you are hanging out with a guy you usually don't hang out with and that could be a possible boyfriend, the guy that likes you will become interested and will stare at you and the guy you are hanging out with. If he is the bold type he might try to become involved with the two of you which definitely means he likes you!!!
If he talks to your friends a lot he probably likes you.
If he tries to be near you and suddenly takes an interest in things you like, he likes you.
If he talks to you and acknowledges you in some way, this is a sure sign he likes you!
If he tries to make you laugh or says stuff sarcastically that he thinks is funny, again he most likely likes you.
Lastly, if he is nervous around you, he likes you.

Of course he likes you but I'd wear a crash helmet if I were you cos that girlfriend is gonna be mad. And you might end up the same as her one day. Or not. But it is probably worth a try. All the best.

thats almost the same thing with me, except i was with my guy friend for new years and we made out right at 12, but anywayz i think he might like u back...should should ask him and be up front with your feelings........my guy has a gf too!!!! it suckz

well... no one knows his feelings what his thinking, therefore there is not correct answer for this question, it happen to me... i thought he liked me, but i was just his best friend who understood him, who gave him time to express himself, who pampered him, he used to spend more time with me than with his girl, i chose his clothes,and later my heart was broken, just because i assumed things that were not true.... just wait to see if his feeling for you are more that just a friendship. b careful if you rush u might lose a friend
