The people were rich and prosporous and had forgotten the law of God. Their money had blinded them to the fact that they like over rip fruit were in the process of decay the bible says.
The rich were defrauding the poor to build their houses of Ivory.
In which they wined and dined giving little regard for the poor and starving. They took on pagan religion and forgot God's laws on morality. Worshiping sex, calves, and just about evevrything except God. It says they became liars, thieves and greedy persons.
I didn't read anything about homosexuality. They did have temple prostitutes of males and females. Maybe that's what they meant?
