When baking a whole ham, I use pinapples, cloves, and brown sugar. You can also use honey.

You can use crushed pinapples and ground cloves and use it like a rub, or score the ham diagonally, and place a whole clove in each "x" and arrange sliced pineapples over the ham, place cherries in the middle and secure wtih dampened toothpics. Sprinkle brown sugar or honey over and place pinapple juice in pan with it before baking.

Brown sugar "melted" in a spicy mustard; whole cloves (stick them in the top of the ham so they can infuse the meat with flavor); or pineapple slices (grill the pineapple to bring out the sweetness in it).
Good luck!

Everyone will tell you cloves, brown sugar that is not going to work on the grill.

Brush olive oil on it and then sprinkle Cajun spices.
