i haven't had my pc very long can you help?

when you have say yahoo open and up at the top you have File then edit then View then favorites etc click on view then toolbars and you can take off the one you want if that doesn't work go to the add/remove programs in the control panel

Depends on the sort of toolbar you mean.

If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox, hit View, Toolbars, and de-select the ones you want to get rid of. (You might also be able to uninstall them in Control Panel, but simply disabling them is probably good enough.)

If you mean toolbars that start when the computer boots, you will have to find the way to disable them. Try right-clicking the toolbar and see if you can get to the preferences or settings dialog. See if there is an option to load it when the computer starts, and disable that if you find one.

Go to the start menu (bottom left)

click on control panel (about the 5th one down on the right)

Add and Remove programs will be on the list

click on that and you will see the list to remove things

click on view, then toolbars will open up a bar to standard buttons,address bar, links, and you might have aol toolbar in there and yahoo toolbar . they will have a check in front of them, just remove the check mark and that will rid your troubles, you can place it back to get you link/bar back. good luck

right click the toolbar and a little menu will pop up then just select which ones u want

Go to Start--Control Panel--Add or Remove Programs..and they should appear somewhere on that list...

THE EASIEST WAY IS TO CLICK VIEW, THEN DESELECT THE TOOLBARS YOU DONT WANT!!!!!
