I am going on the long shot here and thinking you might be asking about the drugs which are given to patients with diagnosed conditions?
These are the people who really have this or that and have been to there doctor or a specialized doctor in that field?
I have noticed many people only thinking they have this or that, these people can only buy there drugs over the counter or Online or on the streets.
People with real diagnosed conditions have to go a step further and get a prescription for there condition from the doctor. This prescription is then filled at a pharmacist, these drugs or some of these drugs are counted or kept in a persons file at the insurance companies who if one is lucky pays a big part of the drug cost, if these drugs are wanting refilled before the count is out there drug will not be refilled. If there is a glitch in the computer system or like us someone ripped off my sons medication that person is out of luck.
When these drugs run out one has to contact the pharmacy, and sometimes the doctor for a refill. Most of the time the pharmacist has a open relationship with the doctors office and can do this quicker then going back to the doctor, sometimes it is quicker going to the doctors office. One of my drugs I have a grower for. This grower is contacted when I run out of my drug and he supplies me with enough to last a couple months if not a year.
We who have been taking drugs to keep living a positive life need to keep up on the new drugs out there as well, and the new drug laws.
For my disabled son his doctor is 6 hours round trip drive for us and the pharmacist refills his drugs for us. Since his condition is life long condition he will always have his drugs around.
Since I am horrible at keeping my doctors appointments the doctors like me to come in so I can have more tests done to find out how much of my body has been damaged by this RA of mine (also a life long condition), and/or my other medical conditions, to see the "whites of my eyes" as one doctor put it lol!
Hope this helps, and of course you may only be talking about just "over the counter". Just seamed like you needed more information, specially for a paper and lord knows I personally have playing this game for well over 20 years...

ordering drugs online can cut costs considerably. A Consumer Reports study found that savings can reach 25% or more. There are so many pharmacies available which provides FDA approved medicines without any issues.
These sites also calls immediately after the order to confirm your order. I've had nothing but great success and interactions with the on line folks. Shipping took a 8 days, but that was because of the postal service used.
