I believe in creation and evolution, and don't see that these contradict each other.
I believe in God and Christ, and don't see how this contradicts anything that science has demonstrated.
Anyone can set God or the Bible equal to something false or contradictory to disprove these things by definition. But what good does that do? If you are going to play with semantic definitions, you might as well, just as easily, do the opposite and set God and Jesus to mean universal concepts that people agree are true and good values.
So by definition you can prove these things to be true in a way that all people agree upon. So I think that is a more practical approach to reaching agreement between atheists and theists, believers and nonbelievers alike. Just agree what is meant by certain terms and "translate" into universal values that everyone shares. For example:
Let God = truth, love, common good, goodwill
Let Jesus as Lord of all = justice as universal law
Let Christ = conscience, charity
Why not define God to be something good that everyone believes in? What good does it serve to define God in a false way that divides people, and is thus not "universal truth" and by definition cannot be of God?

God, I believe, is the creation of the human mind to explain that which we do not understand. Therefore, god must exist in some form be it some force that simply makes laws of human emotion and interaction or as the white bearded guy sitting on a golden throne in heaven. The true question here isn't if he/she exists, but how you see it. "God" is a personal subject that nobody can tell you does or doesn't exist therefore you must answer your own question to find your own answer

You DO realize that video is a joke right? I mean... Richard Dawkins gave it his approval (as you can see at the end of the vid) and he's an atheist. It's supposed to be ironic because it plainly uses the circular reasoning in it and the speaker says "checkmate" after it to show further that the whole thing is not serious.

I'll bet a bunch of Christians actually thought that was a serious attempt to push the "truth" of their Jesus instead of a spoof on how stupid they can be. God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind.
