The rules will be the same for men and women I'm sure - they're more egalitarian than here!

You probably could not get a Swedish passport straightaway, but then as Sweden is in the EU you are free to live and work there anyway.

This I think depends on your sex. I believe if you are a British woman marrying a Swedish man, you would probably be entitled to Swedish nationality. Not sure if this applies the other way around - maybe it does.

i agree with the guy that says i think it depends on your sex. my husband is from afghanistan and he does not automatically get a british passport but if it was the other wat about i would!! not fair but c'est la vie x
