Was all scripture before Muhammed corrupt? Were they always corrupt? Why does the Qu'ran call these holy? When were they coruupted was this considered corrupt before Muhammed? Was it corrupted afer Muhammed? How did no other prophet of God not notice this corruption? How could Jews not notice when someone corrupted their scripture? Why didn't the Chrisitians notice the Jews scripture was corrupted and how come the Christinas have not noticed their scripture was corrupted? How does this make any sense to Muslims? Why can't they tell us this horrible time of all of these corruptions and why their prophet didnt notice and their scripture did not notice this horrible corruption did all of this happen after thousands of years of truth and not one believer noticed it?

Guess you guys think that all Jews did not notice this corruption of the book of Moses and so they became corrupt and then the same thing happened to Christians. This corruption continued changeing Gods word as if God had no control and all whoio believed in him were ingnorant and didnt notice it....But then came Muhammed who also did not notice it and the Qu'ran called them holy even though they were corrupt and he was a prophet of God and sadlyw as in disageement woth God's word and all of the prophets because of this corruption that happened rather suddenly after the book of the Qu'ran was written...The Qu'ran was in ageement wiht all of these at the time of its writing although if these scriptures did not already teach these things why does the Qu'ran amke a point that there is no trinity and it makes other point sot contradict these things although they were not in the original teachings and the Qu'ran remember agreed with the original text.........but mysteriously they disappeare

I have never read the Muslim holy book. I only just recently learned of the differences between the Qu'ran and the Old Testament. I've wondered about this. I think maybe it is because Mohammed was traveling in many places and learned of these things in different places and compiled information as he traveled. Maybe he took whatever he learned as facts without having the Torah to compare it with. I just don't know.
I know that the God of the Bible is the one true God. I believe that Jesus is the Messiah that was foretold in the Jewish Scripture. Jesus is coming again and their will be a final battle. I would like to know more. God knows. He is a God of justice and a God of mercy. I trust Him even when I don't know. He is worthy of trust.

Do you know by who and when where they written?
It was written after years of the death of the prophets and by unreliable people who mostly wrote what they dreamed about.
They carry dozens of contradictions , and no body can authenticate who wrote what.
What's holy about them in Islam is the original ones that are not available anymore.
They were corrupted through out history continuously.
It was changed by the church itself , so the ones who changed any of it for the sake of christianity did not really announce that.
Anyways, why do you care what we think about it ... if you are convinced about their origin .. i have nothing to tell you.
It makes sense when i read it and see some sex scenes written in it .. and when it says that God had to have a son and crucify him to forgive the sins ... that's not from god for sure.

The Muslims believe that they are descendents of Abraham. But the ancestoral line stops there.
They DO NOT BELIEVE that they are descendent of Isaac (Abrahams son of promise through Sarah), or Jacob (whose name was changed by God to Isreal)
Abraham had another son by a bondservant of His wife when she disbelieved that God would keep His promise about giving her a son:
Gen 16:4-17:1
When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress. 5 Then Sarai said to Abram, "You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my servant in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the LORD judge between you and me."
6 "Your servant is in your hands," Abram said. "Do with her whatever you think best." Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.
7 The angel of the LORD found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. 8 And he said, "Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?"
"I'm running away from my mistress Sarai," she answered.
9 Then the angel of the LORD told her, "Go back to your mistress and submit to her." 10 The angel added, "I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count."
11 The angel of the LORD also said to her:
"You are now with child and you will have a son.You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. 12 He will be a wild donkey of a man;his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him,and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."
13 She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me," for she said, "I have now seen the One who sees me." 14 That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; it is still there, between Kadesh and Bered.
15 So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.

And mention, in the Book, Moses; verily, he was sincere, and was an apostle,-a prophet.
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 19 - Mary)
And we gave Moses the Book and made it a guidance to the children of Israel: 'Take ye to no guardian but me.
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 17 - The Night Journey)
Is he (like them) who stands upon a manifest sign from his Lord, which is a witness from Him, and recites it, with the book of Moses before him for a model and a mercy?
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 11 - Hud)
Say, 'Who revealed the Book wherewith Moses came, a light and a guidance unto men?
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 6 - Cattle)
The people of the Book will ask thee to bring down for them a book from heaven; but they asked Moses a greater thing than that, for they said, 'Show us God openly;' but the thunderbolt caught them in their injustice.
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 4 - Women)
We gave Moses the Book and we followed him up with other apostles, and we gave Jesus the son of Mary manifest signs and aided him with the Holy Spirit.
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 2 - The Heifer)
176).[2] As for His relation to the people of the Old Testament,
the Qur'án compares Muhammad to Moses (73:15), and Muhammad says
the Qur'án confirms the Book of Moses: "But before the Qur'án was
the Book of Moses, a guide and a mercy; and this Book confirmeth
it...."
(Islamic Miscellaneous, Gail - Six Lessons on Islam, p. 24)
They are both taken from Genesis, the first book of the Pentateuch or Taurah: Moses is supposed to have been its author, but the text we have today has, as we know, undergone many changes.
(Islamic Miscellaneous, Bucaille - Qur'an and Science, p. 15)
Is he (like them) who stands upon a manifest sign from his Lord, which is a witness from Him, and recites it, with the book of Moses before him for a model and a mercy?
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 11 - Hud)
And we gave Moses the Book, that haply they might be guided.
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 23 - Believers)
And we did give to Moses the Book, and place with him his brother Aaron as a minister; and we said, 'Go ye to the people who say our signs are lies, for we will destroy them with utter destruction.'
(The Qur'an (E.H. Palmer tr), Sura 25 - The Discrimination)
Of old we gave the Book to Moses, and disputes rose about it: and if a
decree of respite from thy Lord had gone before, there would surely have been a
decision between them: for great were their doubts and questionings about it.
(The Qur'an (Rodwell tr), Sura 41 - The Made Plain)
Here are some quotes you might find interesting, As a Bahai I believe in the Bible and the Quran, we believe in independent investigation of the truth, The bible is God's Word and So is the Quran.
As with any faith many people believe that Clergy Corrupts the interpretation of the writtings.
As a Bahai we stress personal knowledge. Not taking people word for it. find the truth out for your self, which means knowledge of every religion. Educated decisions.
And As far as the addendum goes, I believe that they created a separate book because its was not "part of the original version" but as time passed it then became available,
In my faith we have numerous documents that are being translated, so much so it is dufficult to keep up with them all and since the Arabic, ad Persian language is very difficult, I am sure you are aware that many words have more thatn 2-3 meanings when said in diffrent ways, and so forth.
This could be a reason.
There are many versions of the bible aswell, how did this occur?
We are educated people, and we are fully aware of the diffrences between right and wrong, and we know when things are being taken out of context.
Jesus the Christ was a Jew, Christian's only became Christians after Christ was born, but we are all and will always be Human beings. abnd Gods Law will always be HIS law, its never up to us to judge.

When Muhammed was inventing islam and writing the koran (qur'an, etc), it was OBVIOUS that he had NO CLUE as to physiology, astronomy, anatomy, history (especially history of religions such as Judaism and Christianity), etc. In order to attempt to create credibility for the koran, Muhammed had to discredit the holy books. That way, no argument could be presented against his koran. Or so he thought.

Muslims go by the Quran where Christians go by the bible. Christians do not agree with the Quran. You won't find agreement because they each have their own book. You're looking for something that you won't find.
