You can actually try three things....one is that plug your ipod into the computer and go to itunes and change your ipod settings in the music section to "only update songs that have a check mark" and then take off all the check marks from all the songs...second you could just delete all the songs in your itunes program plug your ipod in and update....third you could remove itunes from ur computer completely and then reinstall it ,plug your ipod in and update it.....all of the three ways work just try one

if you are into electronics, but not a geek, you would have already figured this out. I'm totally not a geek but I fix everyone's electronics in my home.
Well, you have to go to where it says how much information is on your iPod (where you found out it has 3.65BG on it) and click on the "pictures" you should be able to erase the pictures out of your iPod by right clicking on them. I can't really explane it very well, but I have the same iPod with 4GB and everything.

just so you know, when they say 4GB ... that isn't 4GB of music...
It would be 4GB of music if your songs didnt have titles etc.
Lots of the memory is taken up by titles of songs albums dates tec. etc. etc. etc.

Why would you want to erase all of your songs??
Just select a few and click delete, and then add in the new ones
