Cottage cheese is listed in several diets as a health snack. For many diets it is considered the protein part of a snack. Stick to low fat or fat free and stick to the portion size. If you like sweet stuff try adding a tablespoon of your favorite sugar free preserves to the cottage cheese. Personally I take the calories and and two I just cut them out some where else.
I know that Body for Life diet uses it also to make a Banana's Foster that is really good. So go ahead eat your cottage cheese. :o)

Depends on the salt and fat content of the cottage cheese you're eating; and how much you're eating. It's a great alternative to milk and an excellent source of calcium.

Be careful with lowfat cottage cheeses. They can contain a lot of artificial fillers, stabelizers and emulsifiers which, personally, are worse than the full-fat versions.

It's an excellent snack. Not a lot of fat, it's calcium, and fairly lo-cal. I like pepper on my cottage cheese. No sweet stuff!

I do too. I chose fat or low fat cottage cheese.
I love to add about 1/4 c sugar free chunky apple sauce, a dash of cinammon and a tsp of raisins. It tastes great!

I need the calcium and protein.

If you stick to low-fat, and follow portion size, it is pretty healthy.
You'd be better with a whole apple, though.
