I may sound weird or something on here, but I do go to church. I go every Sunday, and I only miss for a good reason. I am not a fundamentalist or "obsessed" but I think that church is a very good thing. I also do not think that "church" should end on Sunday, we should always act good.

I attend Church at least Three Times a Week. I also Hold a Chapel Service at a local Rest Home, and Host a TV Program.

Why ?
1) I Love The LORD !
2) I Love To Preach Better Than I Love To Eat!
3) I have an overriding Burden for Souls !

I go to a church when there is a longing in my heart for worship, fellowship, the music, the Word. I have not joined a Church in 6yrs, I was really close with that one, I served as the secretary for a time. But, some things were so wrong there. People were not treated as equals and it just seems more sad and confusing everyday. I talked often with the Pastor about this, I considered him a close friend, still do. But he did not have the power to change it, without risking his position. I long for a Church to call home, I have faith that I will find it.

I am Orthodox catholic. I go to my home Parish in the mornings on Sundays and in the afternoon I go to the University parish to serve there, so that's twice on Sundays. Then on Tuesdays I have a Scripture Study Group. On top of that there are about 20 Holy Days of Obligation as well as daily Mass during Lent for which I have to be at Church.

On an annual basis that would be roughly 225 times in one year.

I go to church twice a week. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday mornings. The Church in which is made up of members is my family. Most of the people at church are those who I will only see at the time of the services. I love God and love to be in God's House to love and worship him. I gain spiritual strength from attending to enable me to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Psalmist says that it is better to be a gate keeper in the house of God than dwell in the tents of the wicked and I agree with him.

No, I don't go to church. Well actually, I go to church for special reasons: wedding, baptisms, funerals. I used to go - because my Dad would force us to go. I attended Sunday School also as a child. My mom was Penecostal (and would probably go every single day if she could) and my Dad was Anglican (every Sunday). We're Native American, so we weren't raised in our traditional spiritual ways because of residential school. I believe that I am a spiritual person but that I don't have to go to church to pray. I trust in the Great Spirit.

I go to church at least once a week, on Sunday. I go for two reasons. One, because it is required by my religion and two because I want to pray to God and give him thanks for all that he has given me. I also have a Holy Hour every Wednesday evening, which I go to most of the time to pray for people in my family that need help.

why do people go to church, to cleanse ourself of impurities, in order for God to accept us into heaven. Is church the only telophone booth through which we can reach God? God is always within us, we find him when we need him. That said, why do we need churches, so we can gather every sunday and hear the rusty voice of some preacher? During the first world war, the church bells of my country's churches were melted to make cannon balls. I don't belive in God, I just don't believe in Church.
