Depends on how you feel about him and whether or not the relationship is dying. If you don't feel that way for him or the relationship can't be saved then you need to get out not as a New Year's resolution, but as good for everyone involved.

well...if you dont like him..you should break up with him anyway..not just because you need a new years resolution. If yhou dont like him..dont play the guy. think of a new years resolution such as, stop drinking soda, or make a new friend every day, that sorta thing. Good luck

Don't break up with someone as a resolution, it is just mean. If he is treating you wrong, such as cheating, or hurting you, or if there is children involved, then yes. But don't do it out of spite.

Yes if he:

~Disrespects you enough to make you feel less of a woman.

~Makes you cry without ever changing his ways.

~Yells and screems when something doesn't go his way.

There are soooo many NICER guys out there then what I typed up there. Just beleive you'll find better. As long as you are the way you'd like ur partner to be. You will find him.

If he is not treating you good. Forget the resolution and just let him go.

If your relationship is not what you wanted, and you see no way to improve it, then go ahead and make a clean break.
