You poop a lot. Instead of being bulimic and puking your excess food out, you spend more time in the bathroom taking a dump. Think self-induced diarrhea!

Don't take them to lose weight. It's an eating disorder that can get you into a lot of trouble.

Don't use them to lose weight--I repeat, don't use them to lose weight. You're going to screw your system up if you aren't careful.

It induces alot of bowel movements in your body, but the good thing is that it really cleans it up of all that residue that you have been accumulating. I use to be thin before but ever since i stopped using laxatives i have really gained some weight, i would take one once a month, but recently last week i tried the enema too, that really works you don't have to take any laxatives, you just insert the tube in your ano and squeeze the liquid into it, stay into position for about 5 minutes and it will make you go to the rest room, when i use to take the magnisium citrate laxative i would want to puke it's nasty but it really works

A laxative is a preparation used for encouraging defecation, or the expulsion of feces. Laxatives are most often taken to treat constipation. Certain stimulant, lubricant, and saline laxatives are used to evacuate the colon for rectal and bowel examinations. They are sometimes supplemented by enemas.

Laxatives are often abused by bulimics or anorexics (nervosa). Laxative abuse is potentially serious since it can lead to intestinal paralysis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), pancreatitis, and other problems.

Only use laxatives if you are back up and you need to be cleaned out. Do not use it for anything else.

When you take laxatives, it actually forces the poop out of you. So if your constipated, take 1, and it'll help. Remember: Take only the amount that the bottle says!

Normally doctors make you take them b4 they do procedures such as colonoscopies. They come in a variety of brands and flavors. They are not much fun and make you go #2 a lot. They are used to clean out your intestines of any waste you may have. Happy new years and hope this helps!

You go to the bathroom a lot. Not fun. And if you're thinking of doing it for weight loss, think again, because it only dehydrates you. The weight is not fat, it's water. In addition, when dehydration sets in you'll actually look bigger. Your body will hold onto all the water it can so you'll bloat up.

I just don't GET this question. What do you THINK happens? It makes you POOP. It can also give you terrible cramps and if you take too much you can become dependent on them and not be able to "go" without them. That's bad.
