My ex boyfriend called me today. I have not spoke to him in 6 months. We broke up 2 years ago to th week...I found out he was cheating on me with his best friends girlfriend, they were sleeping together. I broke up with him and he dated her for 10 months or so. He then broke up with her and wanted to get together and basically propose to me. I told him I was not interested even though I was. 6 more months passed, we didnt talk, I was dating someone else which ended the middle of this summer. The ex came back wanting to talk and see if there was a chance....We had a long talk and I told him I had no interest in being with him..he told me he was done, he was going to move on. Its been 6 months now. We have seen each other once or twice in passing, no words exchanged though. Today he calls and leaves a message saying he would like to sit down and talk to me for a few minutes. I am currently in a relationship with the greatest guy I have ever met....the ex knows this. why the phone call?

Obviously, he still has feelings for you. If you are currently with the greatest guy you ever met, just let your ex know (again) that you and he can never be more than friends.

His time passed up. He is being selfish. Cheating on you when you were with him and now you are with this great guy and he calls you back. He might just be doing it because he really didnt let go and realized he didnt want that other girl but he wants you. H echeated once, do you wantto go through knowing you gave a great guy for someone who might cheat on you again? Not worth it.

Are there any other people in your town besides the ones you mention in your question? If you're with " the greatest guy you've ever met", why are you asking this question? You're full of confusion. Perhaps you need to give up on relationships and do something else (constructive) with your life. Have you tried knitting?

I sincerely think that enough is enough. The reason he is calling is because he is aware of the fact that you are with another guy. I think you should know that it is not worth it, dont talk to him if it has anything to do with your relationship with him, maybe friends, but if your with a great guy after so long dont risk loosing him. Keep living your life and let him figure out his.

He probably thinks he can still get you, wants to make himself feel more important. He thinks he is great **** and can take you away from any guy.
The phonecall was for an ego boost. You should call him and tell him your not intrested, that will bring him back down to earth.
