When you are heartbroken, do you find that from all the emotional strain you cant do anything, like loss od apetite, not going out with your friends, getting angry at someone for no reason, not being able to work etc?
As for myself when i feel like that it really effects me and it takes me a while to move on.
What are your experiences?

O yes that is what happens. When I was heartbroken thats all I thought about, as soon as I was about to eat it would come to my mind and my appetite was gone....I lose a lot of weight...and I didn't go anywhere but stay in the house. It wasn't until I went to college and met my current boyfriend that I completely lost my feelings for him. Now after about 2 years he wants me back terribly and I am happy with my new boyfriend of now 1 year.

I have never been heartbroken
I've been with my true love 20 something yrs
I suppose when she die I will probably zone out and build a fortress of solitude spend some time there

Suicidal thoughts, about how my life will never go on. And that it will never get better.

But it does get better. It always gets worse before it gets better, just hang in there. Find someone to keep your mind occupied and just know that your going to be better off!

Of course. Get a book called "Love".

Sadness, guilt, disappointment, loneliness, failure, than anger, seeing his or her car everywhere, wondering if they'll come back (they won't), than the healing begins and we start all over again.

keep a true heart and what you seek will reveal itself and you will live happily ever after.
