This is what I drink every morning:
1/4 C plain fat-free yogurt
1/4 C skim milk
1/2 C 100% juice (any flavor)
6 T fruit of your choice (frozen fruit will keep your smoothie cold)
approx. 1 T honey (put in last)
Put it all in a blender for a minute or so. Makes one regular sized glass - 12-16 oz.
Unlike white sugar, honey is packed with nutrients and works as an immune system supporter. You can add more honey for a little more sweetness, or less honey. Whatever your preference. The honey adds enough sweetness so that it doesn't taste like you're drinking yogurt.
You can make tons of different flavor combinations by changing the fruit or the juice. If you use raspberries or blueberries I recommend blending for 5-10 minutes to cut down the seeds. Strawberrries have softer seeds, and I have never had a problem with them.

You can use vanilla yogurt or flavored yogurt, frozen raspberries or blueberries & sierra mist or something! :)
I like OJ with bananas & strawberry but don't know if it'd blend well with the other flavors. Try diet 7up, Sierra Mist, Sparkling Cider, etc for the OJ. Let us know what you make & how it turns out! Also a little bit of ground cinnamon might be good depending on what flavors you use. Cinnamon is suppose to be good for you & slow the absorbtion of sugar so you don't get that fast blood sugar rise. ?! :)

Go to www.allrecipes.com and type in smoothies. You can also omit the strawberries and bananas from the recipes that you have and put the type of fruit you like in instead.

You can use the protein powder of your choice. Put an orange in peeled and ice. Drink right away. You can do a chocolate one with chocalte protein powder and a spoonful of protein powder. I use ice to thicken up my shakes and smoothies. It works you just have to be drinking the smoothie right away.

Use orange juice, milk, apple juice, blue berries, kiwi's, mangos, or any fruit to make smoothies. Go to jumba juice website and see their menu to make up your own ingredients for their smoothies.
