Yes. I was going to make a serving of Black Eyed Peas for New Years when I returned from my parents'. Mom said I could cook the whole bag and freeze them in single serving Tupperware.

Lucky I didn't make the whole bag because I burned the hell out of them. I'm trying again today.

You can freeze anything, technically, but cooked black-eyed peas will get very soggy and mushy when re-heated.

Yes you can, plus when you do decide to have them, the flavor will be very very good (make sure you season well before or while you are cooking them, before you freeze them

All dry beans, once cooked, have a 6-month freezer life.

yes you can just make sure the are cool down before putting thme in the freezer or frig.

Sure, my mom does it all the time. She makes a big batch for new years day, then we eat it all year long.

Yes you can freeze them, but they will be very mushy when you thaw and reheat them.
