My almost 6 year old stepdaughter loves to color and draw. We have her play outside a lot- sandbox, swings, slide, with other kids if possible.

She plays Barbies. She also likes being a mom to her dolls. And builds stuff with her Legos. Sometimes she'll dance to some music. She's also trying to read a lot more now, too.

We also play games with her. She loves the kid version of Sequence, Sorry, and Trouble. Chutes and Ladders is a little below her, but she'll play to humor us sometimes. Oh, and we just taught her the card game War. She loves that right now!

a 6 year old should be able to entertain herself if she is given the right things. Books, craft, scissors, paper, lego, dolls, etc. The rest is up to her

Play barbies with her, make jewelery, go to the movies, or mall, play a game with her or do a puzzle, let her do your hair... and dress you up... I know your a guy but ya gotta do what ya gotta do when your a dad.

Take her to the park and let her play or you play a game with her.

Take her to chucky cheese, go to the library when they read the kids the books. Take her to school functions and or fundraisers.
