I have a 2003 toyota camry - it recently started making some rattling nose - but only at low speeds and idling? The noise is similar to something trying to suck not enough liquid thru a straw. Any recommendations?

If the rattle stops with higher RPMs it is probably not anything serious. It may be something as simple as a cover of somekind has vibrated loose. Open the hood and listen thru a hose or plastic tube. Move the hose around until the sound get loudest. This will tell you the area the sound is coming from. Then you can see if there is someting loose in the area.

Get your Catalytic converter checked. The honey comb crap inside might have come loose and could start to cause run ability problems by clogging it up. Or you have an exhaust shield that is loose or just barely touching something else metal under the hood.
