Meh. Life has been hard for the last couple of years. So happy? Not precisely. Unhappy? Not precisely. Its just life.

As for my purpose in life, right now my purpose is to love my family while I have them, and to get by my husbands side (he's living in the US. We're working on getting me down there), then to get a job I love when I'm finally there.

After that, I'll make a decision then. The purpose in life is always changing. Always in motion.

Is this an ad, or a question?

I've not read the purpose-driven life, but heard good reviews of it. For me, happiness comes from my three passions. I am passionate about my wife, who is also my best friend. I am passionate about my career, which involves economics research. And I am passionate about my God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. My days are wonderful - spending time with my wife, and with my books, and with friends discussing the big questions of life, love, eternity, purpose and direction.

My JOY comes from seeing my work for God have positive effects.

Happiness, on the other hand, is fleeting and a much more selfcentered and worldly in concept. So do not seek happiness but experience it as a result of JOY.

My purpose is to work with "Country Club" type Christian churches and groups and to promote Spiritual growth in their communities and guide them to being compassion, care and service oriented.

My purpose in life is to spread the joy of the Good News to others. I do this by extending God's love to others. That is what ultimately makes me a happy person.

To serve God and my fellow beings, family and friends, etc.
Second, to help God to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of mankind. I can't do anything about the immortality part, but I can help with the eternal life part by being a good example and sharing His teachings whenever and wherever I have an opportunity to do so, conversion being an essential part of the eternal life requirement.

Taking care of people makes me happy. I believe my purpose in life is to teach the ones I love how to cope by using my own personal experiences, and to raise children who value family and curiosity.
