It will go bad once it is open for awhile. Putting in a stopper / cork of some kind will prolong its life for awhile. If you "celebrate" more often, you can try this: Turn the champagne into ice cubes. Pour it into a try and freeze it. Then, at your next celebration, place the ice cubes into the cocktails. It adds a little flavor and a little flare. You can even freeze it into shapes if you have the trays for it. If you have an odor free freezer and place the cubes into a freezer bag and seal it, they can last for months! Enjoy!

I really don't think you can save champagne as it is carbonated. It is like a coke or a beer....once open you better drink it that day. You can try though. They have one of these bottle stoppers you can buy for wine that closes off air to the inside of the bottle and if you can't find any of those try a wine bottle cork.

You really can't. Once the bottle is opened, the bubbles start to go away and isn't that the whole point to drinking champagne?

You can buy special spring loaded cork/caps that will keep the opened bottle good for an extra day or so, but that's about it. After that the bubbly won't be very bubbly anymore.

Use the rest of the champagne, and mix it with jello. It will add to the taste of the jello
