Not if you're into geriatric sex ... It's incestuous and is therefore against common law in England and Wales. It is however quite OK to have an affair with your mother-in-law in certain states of the USA as clearly demonstrated in the excellent film "Deliverance" starring Burt Reynolds and Ned Beatty

Get a life you sad sick perverted a** hole! And using a photograph of the Duke of Edinburgh clearly shows a lack of respect for the monarchy too ...

Yes. It is wrong. Affairs should only be had with sisters-in-law.

To answer your silly question:

Yes it is wrong to have an affair with anyone who is NOT your wife. It is especially wrong to have an affair with the mother of your wife's. By cheating on your wife you hurt her twice in one masterful stroke. Cheating on her to begin with and getting with her mother.

If you are doing this, Jerry Springer called and would be honored to have you on his garbage talk show.

I hear that one can hire a fair and have them erect it in ones garden. I'm sure if your mother in law is willing and one is paying for the construction of the said entertainment then it would be fine.

By the way one can't help but notice your resemblance to my good friends husband.

It depends entirely on your perception of wrong. Assuming both you and your mother-in-law are of legal age, then you are both considered consenting adults. I would also advise on using a condom as well as using birth control as the added stress of an unplanned pregnancy could put a strain on your relationship. Also, if your wife finds out just tell her you went on yahoo answers and they advised you it was okay.

Best of luck.

Not only is it wrong it's practically illegal. It's certainly illegal (in the UK) to marry your parent-in-law - it comes under the incest laws, even though you're not actually blood related it's classed the same as marrying your own parent.
