you found someone that won't lie to you, so why make him lie to you, he obviously doesn't love you, or he would tell you he did.

I dont beleive its the nail in the coffin. Some people Men or women are scared for full commitment and some people say i love you to easily!
As for myself when you find that really special person i never find it diffifcult to say.
At the end of the day if thats what you feel tell him.
Good luck.

Emotional pain destroys men. When a man is emotionally destroyed, women do not find him attractive, and other men will ridicule him. There's a saying "Women fall in love faster, and men fall in love harder". With so many people dishonest, and with society changing due to individualism and feminism, no one thinks about others as much. People hurt each other, and men can't deal with the emotional pain of being hurt, so they 'play the field' a lot more.

Naw, guy's aren't afraid - it could go the same way with girls too; it's more of a security issue and of understanding what "love" really means - maybe some people don't understand the meaning behind it.

There are so many reasons, mostly psychological. I've never had a problem telling some of the girls that I've dated that I loved them, but only if I was getting that vibe from them too.

I think it scares people in general if someone is saying it 2 weeks into the relationship. Get to know someone very well first.

Yeah...but if he likes you in that way he won't run. BTW: a long time for a guy is like two months; so don't get too comfortable.

i say i love you to close friends, and relatives i think it's pretty narrow minded of people lately who dont say it just because they think the other person will get the wrong idea i honestly think that people should be more open with the words "i love you" i'm not saying overuse them i'm saying they need to show feelings more (and i'm not just talking to other guys)

you just have to make sure he feels the same way. If you think he loves you, then tell him. If you think it will make the relationship better then tell him. I told my boyfreind first and we are still together.

Some guys say it, but don't mean it.....so I'd rather have a loving guy without telling me, instead of having a liar.... ;-)

My buddy told it to his gf... and she packed her stuff and left the next morning. I don't think he will ever say that to a girl first for the rest of his life!!!
