My boyfriend and I recently had a fight, and it got kind of physical. He just called me this morning and told me that he had a surprise for me, should I be excited or worried?!?

He is very upset rignt now, because his grandmother just had a major stroke. I know that he needs his space, and I may have rushed talking to him. He isn't abusive, he just has a bad temper, and I should have known better than to try to talk to him when he needs his space. I"m not mad at him, but I'm afraid that I'm going to lose him.

Pirate, what do you mean bu phyiscal? If he hit you or pushed you around at all then you need to leave and never look back. I I don't care what he was going through there is no excuse for a man hitting or pushing a girl around. Don't kid youself by justifying it in anyway. And someone who does this probably will always be prone to doing it. I would be very cautious in this situation. I would be worried. Good Luck!

You should be worried over the physical fight. Sounds like an apology of some sort is coming....typical abuser pattern. Honey, you are making excuses for him. That's called being an enabler.

Your man hit you. If this has happen before then you should probably have someone go with you or at your house when he gets there. You don't want to see him alone. You don't want to see him at all if he is hitting you. You deserve better no matter how great he may seem. He hit you and thats a definite no no. You don't need a man who hits you once cause he will do it twice. Let go and move on. I know that we all want someone in our lives to love but what kinda love is it if it has to hurt? I will pray for you and God Bless.

If you mean by physical is that he got abusive, I would suggest not seeing him anymore until he takes some anger management classes. Only you would know if you should be excited or worried and that would depend on what you mean by phsyical.

take a friend or 2 to recieve it. also if a guy hurts you once he's gonna do it again. get rid of him. he's a obvious jerk and I don't even know the dude. he also needs counsling to tell him that hitting a girl is a TERRIBLE thing to do. it's good that you asked this before you get hurt again.

if you recently had a fight then YES BE WORRIED. hold off and don't see him for a while, just give him a bit of time to cool off from the argument/fight, don't see him for a while. ok???
