ok my goin to be bf just told me that he had a gf. he was supposed to ask me out today but then he tells me that he has a gf.. i got upset cried and hung up. i have liked him for about a year and it was hard for me...
now... i want to get out and meet someone new... what does a guy look for in girls...???? i just want to get over him and move on..
i go to school with a lot of preppy guys... i am not a preppy girl so how can i make it to where they like me also...??? without me changing that much?

Based on my experience, the preppy popular guys never wanted to date a girl that wasn't. It sucks, but it's one of the joys of being a teenager. I'm glad to see that you don't want to change yourself, you are heading in the right direction there. Just be patient.

Congrats on moving on from that loser--he's def not worth your time.
Just because guys dress preppy doesn't mean they are only into preppy girls--remember, sometimes opposites attract!
As a side note--don't settle for the first guy who comes on to you. I know you feel bad, but I've seen rebound relationships go bad. So make sure you date someone you would date whether or not that last jerk had dumped you.
Do you have brothers, young uncles, cousins, or guy-friends? They could probably give you personalized advice on what the guys in your area like. And do you like preppy guys? Because if you don't, there's always diff people you can find in corners here and there. I go to a college that's really preppy, but I've found that it's not all preppy.

Be yourself. Don't be affraid to let someone know you like them. Many girls seem to have a hard time with this (some don't).
Look your best, dress a little sexy but not sluty. Don't always gun for the hardest to get guys.Many unpopular guys are waiting for someone like you and would treat you great unlike some ultra popular type that will think he's doing you a favor.

properly maximum adult men %. up on stuff like that so i think of u have been given the clever section incorrect. in any case ask a chum to tell him. thats what each and every of the girls at my college do. yet after ur pal tells him u would desire to make the frist pass. if u dont confer with him he will think of u arnt dedicated to an entire courting.

just be friendly, sweet and cute in ur own way. eye contact, smiling is very important. make a lot of friends, don't think about boyfriend stuff right away. be positive, happy, and healthy, and just Attract people to you. that way, u will have ur "pick"! :) good luck

well dont try to be something your not. and dont try to dress up esspecially to meet a guy because you dont wanna look to easy or anything like that so just try to play it cool and be normal but dont try to hard!
