My new bf turned down a job opportunity in Bosnia to stay here with me,he did everything to get out of it and luckily he didnt have to go. Recently he's been having family problems and we havent been out in over a month,he never keeps in touch,and he's left me in limbo. What does this mean?he seemed to care enough about me to turn down this job but now he just completely avoids me.

Let him know that he can talk to you about anything. We (men) often go into our silent "I'll deal with it by myself. I need to be strong and not show weakness" modes where we don't want to ask for help despite wanting it deep down. Maybe he's feeling like that.
Whatever it is, if he's made such a big commitment in his life to stay for you, you should be able to discuss his problems together if they are affecting the way you feel about the relationship too.
You have a right to find out that his issues are not directly to do with you. Perhaps he may require some space for a while, but if you can show him that you understand and accept that, he may be more willing to open up to you when he feels comfortable to do so.

When someone does not return you calls for any reason that should tell you the simple fact that they do not respect you or want do deal with you. for whatever reason, he may have turned down the job in Bosnia just because he did not want to go and your relationship with him had little or nothing to do with his decision. You leave him the following message on the phone:
" Hi, (His name) It's me(your name) I hope your family is doing better, and I wish you all a happy new year. I think that for right now you and I should see other people, but I hope we can remain friends. Do call me if you need anything (give him your number again) Talk to you later, have a great day."
If he does not return this call or respond, go out there and find a new boyfriend.

Maybe he turned down the job for another reason. Is he depressed about anything else that you know of? It sounds like it to me.

It sounds like it's your problem. Even if he turned it down because he wants to be with you, he's going to second guess himself. If you jump his crap for anything, he's going to pull away and resent you for not leaving in the first place. You have to be little miss perfect for a while.

may be because he is busy that is all
u shouldnt put in ur mind that he is trying to avoide u
because u cant read what inside people hearts
he may be busy enough or he has a problem that prevent him talking to u

Maybe he is all stressed out about his family problems. Did you talk to him about this? I would talk to him to see what was up before jumping to any conclusions.

Just try to talk to him about it. It may have more to do with his family problems and nothing to do with you.
