I saw something clearly with my own eyes, and this guy lied to me. This doesnt sound good, but I'm 100% positive that I'm right about this. I confronted him and he flipped out, and tried to turn it around on me and how I cant trust him (obviously!!)!. He even lied more to try and convince me his first lie wasnt a lie! I saw him get a # off his myspace page from some chick who wants to talk to him and he programed it in his cell. He couldnt keep his story straight and it changed 2 or 3 times that night alone. He tried to get his buddy to play along and make it seem like they knew her from somwhere a while ago so he'd look honest, but their stories were sooo different about the chick is and how they know her. Complete BS! I know he's lying, but he will not admit it. How do you handle a situation when you're being lied to, but you still cant really prove anything- even when you're absolutely certain that you are being deceived.

if he still won't be truthful with you (and he's your boyfriend) then you need to tell him that he's broken the fundemental structure of your relationship--trust--and therefore you cannot be with him unless he fesses up right now...and if he doesn't....just end it....but look if he's not your boyfriend....he still shouldn't be lying to you and that shows some weakness in your friendship....for which u might wanna tell him u just don't want to talk to him for a while......because you need to maintain your self-respect and pride...not be his lapdog..because if he gets away with this once and successfully....he will most definately do it again....good luck gurl i know u can do it!

The way you handle it is by cutting it off with him. If you caught him, that's the only proof you need. How could you ever trust him after the situation? And the fact he tried to flip it on you only means he's even more guilty. Furthermore using lies to cover up more lies... Man, I don't know sounds guily. After that situation, you'll always have in the back of your mind "has he ever done this before", or I wonder if he's doing it again? If not that anything else?" Don't put yourself in that position it's not worth it, and there are other guys out there anyway right?

I hope this helps!

You trust your instincts. What would you tell your best girlfriend to do? I'm sure you'd tell her to kick his *** to the curb, so be a good friend to yourself and trust your gut feeling. You are not stupid. People who are lying will get angry, turn it around, lie more, make excuses, anything to avoid getting caught. If he was really remorseful about anything, he would just come clean and apologize, everyone makes mistakes and it seems like you are a pretty understanding person, so the fact that he keeps denying it just shows that he's not ready to be honest and upfront anyway. I think you should trust yourself and don't let him convince you that you are just being insecure. There is a difference between just randomly accusing someone and actually having valid reason to doubt them.

you don't need to prove anything if you saw it with your own eyes. You did the right thing about confronting him and thats all you can do. Now it is up to him to tell you the truth or make some consequences for him(like not talking to him) you can't trust a liar by giving them another chance they'll just lie again. Let him go and find new people becasue he obviously doesn't care enough to tell you the truth.

If you are absolutely certain you are being lied to... ditch the dirtbag. I mean, if its some petty lie, then get over it and just be on the ball with everything he tells you. But if its a lie about his relationship with this myspace girl.... and you have lost trust in him... that generally leads to breaking up later anyways.

Good Luck!

Well ur not gonna get any straight answers out of him..sounds to me like he's getting digits and trying to get away w/ it but he was not so lucky this time but what about the times u don't know about? Honesty and is the key here, after this ur not going to trust him which will lead to a terrible relationship..

Get rid of him!!!

I know it's hard!!!

I've done the same thing. This guy i liked i found out he was cheating on me, i even talked to the girl he was cheating on me with. And he lied straight to my face! He said the reason his friends told me was cause they wanted me and she told me that he was with her because she was jealous of what we had! Sounds like BS to me!!!

I say get rid of him, a relationship should be based on trust and clearly you dont have that!

You tell him not to call you anymore.

You walk away.

You tell yourself that you are blessed to have seen this now before you went into a deeper relationship with someone who doesn't respect you or himself enough to tell you the truth.

You stop all communication with a liar and you put the person on "distant associate" status.

Do not forget about the incident. Keep bringing it up until he admits to it. OR Why wont you get her name off of myspace and ask her about it or ask her how does she know him telling her that you are his girlfriend. But dont tell him that you are going to ask her about it because he might try and tell her to lie to you.

i hate when that happens, you know that you arent crazy yet they continue to try and make you think that you are. i suggest if you are in a relationship and you feel strongly about it to make the best decision for you, if that means breaking up, then do so, you dont deserve to be lied to.
