i want it to go at least 120 feet and if possible 2miles

place it at the focal point of a 1 meter diameter satellite dish and point it in the direction you need. Make sure you're not blocking the way. Could be pretty hard to do without taking it apart and hooking up an antenna connector and then using an external antenna. A pringles cantenna would probably work alright for 120 feet and you'd definitely need a dish for 2 miles AND it'd have to be completely clear of obstructions as it is strictly line of sight propagation.

In other words, if you're looking for practicality, don't even bother. Something like this should be only attempted by a true techno geek who's got nothing better to do ;-)

As the DS uses WiFi, you just have to use a WiFi Range Extender Box.
These receive the Wifi Signal and then Re-Transmit. This will also work for your Wifi Broadband Signal. Several of these boxes can be 'Strung' together in a digital Daisey Chain. The other way is to use a Wifi to RJ45 Wired Access Point or Dongle to a cable (up to 350 ft I think!) and then the same at the other end. These can be set to create a Wireless to Wired and back to Wireless extender.
