Hey John,

Genforum has a surname forum for Arevalo.

Origin: Spanish

Spelling variations of this family name include: Arévale, Arévala, Arrevalo, Arrebalo and others.

First found in the region of Castile, a powerful Christian kingdom of medieval Spain.

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Marcos De Arevalo who came to Peru in 1534; Alonso De Arevalo who sailed to New Granada in 1569; and Cristobal de Arevalo who voyaged to New Spain in 1581 with his wife, Agueda Hernandez, and his children.

You will not find a Family Tree just hanging around. You may find branches of the tree though. Roots web, Family Tree, and several other may have what you want. Your family tree begins with you, then your parents. Get Birth Dates, Marriage, Certificates for your parents, their parents, and their parents. Keep working backwards one person at a time. You should consider organizing with software, there are some free, and some really good ones for about $30.00.
