The situatio totally depends on which countries are involved. I can't comment on immigratin to the US. For the UK, if the person is from outside the EU and does not already have indefinite leave to remain here, you need to apply for a spouse visa, which will only be given if they believe that it is a genuine marriage, and that you will be able to support and accommodate your partner without public assistance - you will have to provide evidence of employment, bank statements, and suitable accommodation.

Good luck

what information are you looking for? what do you want to know about it.... it's the same as marrying someone anywhere in the world.... just different laws or religious practices may be observed.... marriage is marriage anywhere....so you need to be specific, like marriage to whom, where, when etc? what are you thinking about doing, is there some problem you have etc? For instance I am a non-US citizen and my husband is, but I was living in the US on a valid visa.... so my situation marrying my husband was different from say one of my friends who married someone who lived in another country who did not live in the US at all, so details help!
