He was on Vac with his friends, does this make any sense...he knew i'd get the bill and never told me about the phone call.

This is someone he goes to school with, none of his friends know her, they all live somewhere else, and so does she, i do know her and her boyfriend but i've heard things about others talking about them before...

Ask him why, and make him pay the phone bill for the next couple of months as punishment. Let him know what happens in Vegas don't always stay in Vegas.

How do u know its a girls number??? Did you call it?
Maybe one of his single buddies used his phone to call the chick... but somehow I would still be skeptical. I woulda gone with his a** to Vegas bc yes- what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. that place is like a vault for people to hide their secrets.
Confront him, in person, so u can see his reaction. If hes sketch at all about it or gets angry... u've probably got a cheater.

Do you know the girl? Is she a friend of his? Did you ask him about it? I would ask him first before you started to worry too much about something that may be no big deal. Also did one of his friends maybe use his phone while they were on vacation? I am guessing that it is completely innocent since he knows you will see the bill.

I would tell him that your going to call the ph company for some number from Las Vegas came up and you don't know who that is and want it erase from the bill perhaps that would make him confess of what and who he was talking to

He probably figured he could lie his way out of it or tell you one of his friend's used his phone or that you might not pay attention to the bill.
On vac with his friends?...there's a whole lot of peer pressure that goes on sometimes in this kind of situation.

then doesn't it make sense that he let one of his friends borrow the card so they could call someone......geeze give the guy a break...they were on vacation....why are u so supicious???
try asking him why this number is on the phone bill--they would be the best way to find out why.
