Why does it matter? It doesn't change anything. There is no "evidence." Just a lot of words. Mary Magdalene was married. But not to Jesus. She lived out her life in a hermit's cave and there is now a massive basilica there, where her remains rest. Logic has nothing to do with it. The Gnostic writings make no sense. The "Gospel of Thomas" claims Jesus was going to turn Mary Magdalene into a many so she could go to heaven. Because according to that "gospel" only men get to heaven.

If the Bible is not the real word of God? If everything was hidden from us?
According to the Bible as well, Jesus was the son of David... and according to the Bible David was not God... So was he the son of David or the son of God?
And Mary Magdalene... why would they write in the Bible that she was a woman that gives herself to many men for money? (a h**ker). Why would she do that? She was a princess, she had royal blood, she had gold and treasures and whatever she wanted, she never needed to do that.
They say that Jesus had a child with Mary Magdalene, with whom he was married. The descendants of this child became the Merovingian kings of France.
The Roman Catholic Church tried to kill off all remnants of this dynasty and their guardians, the Cathars and the Templars, during the Inquisition, in order to maintain power through the apostolic succession of Peter instead of the hereditary succession of Mary Magdalene.
So to us, that will remain a mistery...

The DaVinci code is a piece of fiction and shouldn't be used as a reference for religious fact.

That said, according to the Bible, no, they were not married, nor even involved. But then, whether the Bible is an accurate story of Jesus' life is another question (yeah, I'm going to get thumbs down for that). We know it doesn't include every detail of his life.

No, the Davinci Code is a movie made from a fictional novel. The Word of God is truth and supersedes anything that Hollywood puts out.

I don't think they ever married, they just lived together, according to the Priory of Sion.
