Because, he gave the angelic beings freewill. Remember Satan was the most beautiful of all the angels actually (Lucifer) He was hte music leader as well before the fall of man. That is why all these portraits of Satan asbeing this thing with two horns is false. Satan will come up through the AntiChrist as a world leader and bring peace to the Middle East.

Because He decided to. That question has bothered believers and non believers for centuries. It a good question. I have never found an answer that seems to fit entirely. It gets into the whole story of Jesus and that God had a body made for him from before time, or at time. Too deep for my brain. I just know love is more powerful than hate and evil. So go that path and all will be well. Maybe not to your taste, but well.

yes, g-d is all knowing , and of course the knew what satan would bring to the world.
as g-d created satan, he also created evil, light and darkness, and of course by creating it he knew what consequences it would have.
my understanding for god creating evil is to support free will, without that we couldn't choose between them..
of course, I understand free choice as choosing between doing the right or the wrong, choosing between orange or apple juice isn't enough to define free will.
other support for the existence of evil is that it may serve as a highlight for good, like a shadow may highlight the light around it, or darken times may be used to realize that we got better

If you knew the answer would that make you believe in Him? Would understanding the "whys" of God cause you to follow Him? I think with the hard questions we just have to trust that God knows what He is doing because heaven knows we all don't!

Satan was one of the angle before, he disobey God's order. he challenged God that he will make his people follow him; God left him in the world and said that people who really believe on me will never follow you.

"God" created everyone with free will--angels and humans--it is up to each one to follow either God's ways or Satan's and, to receive life or death--our choice.

Evil is an aspect of Creation. It comes behind it and cleans it up. Recycles energy.
Creation is multi-dimensional. We created Hell with our
own spiritual energies through war and violence.
If one loses his self-control and gets caught up in these
destructive aspects. God cannot destroy the whole of
Creation over it!

That is like having Yin without the Yang. It is necessary to see the light and the dark of everything so that you will know how to make a choice.
