We got married at an all inclusive resort and loved it! No stress, no worries, just the perfect intimate ceremony we wanted. Barefoot, relaxed beautiful! http://www.superclubs.com/destinations/bahamas/index.asp
I also checked into Florida beach weddings (just using search engines) and there is a lot available with destinations, planners etc.
Congrats and good luck!

A lot of your resort hotels on the beach have a wedding planner on staff who will take care of everything for you. The only down fall is you have to use all of their vendors. The upside is that you will have a great place to spend the night without having to drive - so you can party with you guests all night!!

1. start by figuring out the location - even the state - you want to marry in. Do you want a complete destination wedding (like Jamaica) or do you want the closest vacation spot to your home?
2. Do an internet search for that City and weddings. You'll get your start.

decide on the beach and find out if its ok you do it there, especially if you plan on having more people then just you and hubby. choose a day and call around to find someone to marry you there. the rest is just getting something to wear, wedding party if your having one, guests, type of reception...all that stuff.

Choose a nice cool day. When are you doing it? Don't choose a day that's breezy. I'd choose the Montage hotel by the beach. It's a resort actually or an Inn. Then I'd plan it there.

Find the place that works best for the ceremony and reception. Basically, just start perusing the internet or yellow pages for wedding vendors.

Have it at PANAMA CITY BEACH FL. that is where my parents got married and it only cost like $10, 500. It was cheap conpared to the church wedding they wanted.

You need to start with a location--sit and visualize where you want the guests and flowers etc--its all in finding the right spot and going from there--
