Labor can last about 15 hours with active labor being anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours from the time the first puppy pops out to the last puppy, depending on the amount of puppies and the size. Is this her first litter? Any active labor that doesn't produce a pup in over 2 hours...get her to a Vet!
You obviously aren't an educated breeder so may I suggest that you please spay your dog after she weens the pups. City shelters are overrun with puppies and kittens. Only people with show quality pets should be breeding in the first place. There are too many homeless mutt puppies already!

active labor? If your dog is in active labor it can take up to 24 hours. However, if your dog is actively pushing and doesn't produce a puppy within 20 to 30 minutes, you should contact your veterinarian. The biggest concern is for a puppy being to large for the birth canal and getting stuck. This scenario can be fatal to the puppies and mother dog.
Good luck.

Every dog is different, and it's really hard to say how long she will be in labor. It can be minutes or hours. My female chihuahua, being her first litter, delivered three beautiful, healthy puppies, without complications, in a surprising 25 minutes total. Hopefully, she won't have any complications and will have an easy delivery. I hope everything goes well. Good Luck!

LABOR can take any amount of time -
If Ur dog is in labor, CALL a Vet - don't ask for help over the Net!
Ur dog/her litter can be at risk, and they can DIE, U know -
this is not a substitute for a medical consult!

i would give her lots of time unless she really seems to be struggling dog can take anywhere from 2-8 hours before you should worry like i said unless you see her struggling even then you may only need to give her a shot of oxytocin (it helps along the contractions) a pup every hour isn't unheard of

It can take probably about an hour atleast, and up to a few hours...If she has been having puppies, and its been more than a few hours, but seems to be having trouble, and is tiring alot, you should probably take her to a vet...
