dogs can suffer kidney failure after eating of large quantities of grapes and raisins. The key words are "large quantities", and of course the size of your dog.
The reported adverse responses to grapes and raisins are not from pets eating the occasional single grape or raisin. The cases of kidney failure involved ingestion of 2 ounces to 4.4 ounces. of grapes/raisins. Giving your dog 3-4 at a time might be close to that 2 ounce limit.

Blueberries (fresh or frozen) on the other hand are really good for dogs! Most dogs also enjoy baby carrots, apple wedges (but no the seeds, see below),bananas, melon, and pears.

You probably will want to limit your dog's fruit intake, as too much can cause soft stools, or diarrhea.

Some other foods to avoid are:

Onions, though not a fruit, should be avoided because they can destroy red blood cells and can cause anemia.

Tomatoes can cause tremors and heart arrhythmia's. Tomato plants and the most toxic, but tomatoes themselves are also unsafe.

Macadamia nuts can cause weakness, muscle tremor and paralysis. These symptoms are usually temporary.

Walnuts are poisonous to dogs.

Apple seeds, cherry pits, and peach pits, pear pips, plums pits, peaches, and apricot pits contain cyanide, which is poisonous.

When in doubt, call your vet.

No grapes.

Some people fear garlic because it's toxic. Yes it is, but only in really huge amounts. It's like vitamin c will harm the dogs if give in really super huge amounts. Do not give, if your dog has bleeding problems.

This is the first time that I heard tomatoes are harmful to dogs.

The green parts of the tomato plant are considered toxic because they contain solanine, which has the potential to produce significant gastrointestinal and central nervous system effects.

However ripe tomatoes, the part of the plant typically used in food products, are not toxic. Therefore, we would not expect any poisoning-related issues with the tomato content of your pet food.

The information in the web can be useful and also harmful if not research properfully...
