I am trying to reload 2000 due to a bug. However when I try to enter my 25 digit cd key(?) it says it is invalid. Does anyone have a valid code to email me? Nothing fishy here just trying to reload. Or any suggestions on how to get mine verified?
Thanks

You are probably mistyping one or more of the digits, or the version currently on your machine is not the one which was installed from that disk.
Your best bet, without doing a format and reloading everything from scratch, is to call Microsoft tech support.
You _are_ talking about a legit copy of Word, right?

Well seeing as though I'm pretty sure that Microsoft has the digit cd keys registered and I couldnt give you mine becuase it's in use, BUT if I were you I would call Microsoft and explain the issue I know I hate calling places like that too but I cant think of anything else. Hope it helps!

If you Have to have Word 2000 try calling Microsoft for a new one
(I'm guessing that you have the original CD)
But why not try a free alternative
Openoffice.org can open and save into Word format

Call the Microsoft Support Customer Care at 1-800-936-3500; Tell them what happened and they will either release your code or give you a new one with little questions asked.

The keys are unique for each disk. To make your disk work, you have to type the right key. You can not borrow from others. Make sure to find the right key for the disk, or type exactly the same if you are sure they are right-They are case sensitive, and pay attention to numeric/alphabet. Sometimes they look alike.
