Another thing you do not want to do is take medications. Pain meds have been proven to be another cause for the huge increase in kidney disease of younger people. We have trusted the government to tell us certain things are safe, when in fact many are not. I was taking Alli for weight loss and come to find out it hurts your kidneys and probably a lot of other organs and yet it's still out there being sold to unsuspecting people. I had no idea what was causing so many issues and now I think I've finally got it. But my kidneys have paid the price. Sounds like you know what to do to prevent further damage ~ Go natural with whole foods. Just because something says it's healthy, doesn't mean that it is. Processed foods and any chemicals/drugs could have many side affects that have not been identified. Don't eat protein bars either, those are supposedly causing a lot of kidney issues too. As for your immediate problem, you can't not go in. It could be very serious.

My wife just asked her doctor. He said as long as you use in moderation, one a day, maybe two (occasionally) if you don't take in caffeine from any other source, then it's okay to drink...Moderation is the key. Get the sugar free kind. I just started drinking this stuff recently--but only when I need a boost. I'd never drink more than one a day. Exercise is probably more effective as an energy booster.
